Philanthropy

Alpha Delta Pi’s international philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities.  The Delta Delta chapter specifically serves the Ronald McDonald House in Little Rock, AR.  The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for families of hospitalized children or those undergoing outpatient treatment in the Little Rock area.  The Ronald McDonald House allows parents an escape from the hospital environment, to have the support of other families with the same plight, and to ease some of the stress associated with their child’s illness.

To raise money for the Little Rock Ronald McDonald House, our chapter:

      • Hosts an annual Chili Supper
      • Participates in a Teeter-totter-a-thon
      • Is Hosting a Dance Marathon
      • Hosts a Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament
      • Co-hosted a dinner and silent auction with Circle K
      • Participated in a Jewelry Trunk Show with Underwood’s Jewelry

The Delta Delta chapter not only helps to raise money for our philanthropy, but actively participates in Greek Wide events to raise money for a multitude of philanthropies.  Alpha Delta Pi placed 1st in the 2nd Annual Kappa Sigma Relay Races to benefit MADD.  Alpha Delta Pi placed 1st in the Bowling for Bling Tournament to benefit White Ribbon and Hot Pink Ribbon in their quest to end violence against women.  Alpha Delta Pi placed 3rd in Greek Sing with a can food drive to benefit Seven Hills Homeless shelter.  Alpha Delta Pi sisters also attend dinners and events of other chapters to show a unified Greek effort to raise money for philanthropic causes.
